HYDERABAD: Bennett, Coleman and Company Ltd (BCCL) has taken a stake of 9.8% for Rs 7 crore in city-based software and learning services provider SQL Star International. The investment involves an issue of 1.75 million shares by SQL Star to BCCL-the publishers of The Times of India and The Economic Times-on a preferential basis at a price of Rs 40 per share, including a premium of Rs 30 per share.
