SQL Star reports 782.62% profit growth

The Board of Directors of SQL Star International Limited has, in its meeting held today, approved the Company’s audited financial results for the year ended 31 March 2007.

Consolidated Revenues & Profits

The Company’s consolidated revenues grew by 88.57% with revenues of Rs. 7074.47 for year ended March 31, 2007 as against Rs. 3751.62 Lacs for the previous 15 months ended March 31, 2006.

The profit over consolidated revenues stood at Rs. 352.24 Lacs (before extraordinary items and tax) for the year ended March 31, 2007, as against a loss of Rs. 324.73 Lacs of the previous year.


Revenues & Profits from Indian Operations

Revenues stood at Rs. 4298.65 Lacs as against the revenues of Rs. 3170.28 Lacs reported for the 15 months period ended March 31, 2006, an increase of 35.59 %. Profits stood at Rs. 231.51 Lacs (before extraordinary items and tax) for the year ended March 31, 2007 as against a profit of 26.23 Lacs reported during the 15 Months period ended March 31, 2006 a dramatic growth of 782.62 %

Elaborating on the results and profits, Mr. N R Ganti, Chairman, and Managing Director said,

“The dramatic increase in the net profits in Indian operations is not only due to the overall growth in all revenue segments but largely as a result of measures initiated to bring in improvements in operational efficiency”.

“Revenue from overseas subsidiaries continues to grow as high-value clients are getting added regularly” he added.
